Nakshatrams to avoid for travel etc.

 தீதுறு நட்சத்திரங்கள் !

"ஆதிரை பரணி கார்த்திகை
ஆயிலிய முப்புரம் கேட்டை
தீதுறு விசாகஞ் சோதி
சித்திரை மகம் மீராரும்
மாதனங்கோண்டார் தாரார்
வழி நடைப்பாட்டார் மீளார்
பாய்தனில் படுத்தார் தேறார்
பாம்பின் வாய் தேரை தானே"

The above saying says that the following nakshatras to be avoided for travel, or keeping subhamugurtham, Lending money and getting serious illness during those nakshatras.  They are Tiruvathirai, Barani, Karthikai, Ayilyam, pooram, pooradam, pooratathi, kettai, visagam, Chithirai, Magam.

The above poem is self explanatory.   

Parigaram:

Sometimes we will not be able to avoid those nakshatras.  In that case go to a temple and roll a coconut there and proceed.
